With years of training in urology and robotics surgery, Dr. David Samadi has always been passionate about trying to eradicate diseases dealing with the prostate. Now, he’s bringing his medical expertise to his own show on the Fox News channel. The show will be called SUNDAY HOUSE CALL WITH DR. DAVID SAMADI, and it will be broadcast live every Sunday at 12:30 pm, EST. The show will focus on giving viewers tips about health issues and treatments, and because of the fact that it will be a live show, viewers will also be allowed to call in or email the doctor any medical questions they want answered.
Dr. Samadi will have many healthcare specialists on his show to help him answer the viewers’ questions, as well as to give the whole viewing audience tips on staying healthy. There will be a large focus on men and women’s health, with topics that include: exercise; food; diseases; prostate health; and sexual health. The show will also be available to watch on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Live and on the website simply called Dr. SamadiTV.com.
Most people who are familiar with Dr. Samadi know that he was the medical expert that was a regular on Fox News, and that he is considered to be a surgeon to celebrities. He specializes in urologic diseases and surgery, and most of his clients are well-known figures in the entertainment world. He works at Lenox Hill Hospital, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York, which is unarguably one of the wealthiest sections of the city.
Dr. Samadi was born and raised in Iran, but he finished high school in New York after he and his family moved to the U.S. years ago. He went on from there to attend Stony Brook University, where he earned a Biochemistry degree. Then in 1994, he earned his full M.D. from S.U.N.Y. School of Medicine. After that, he got training in urology and proctology between 1996 and 2002.
He is the Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, and he’s a board certified urologic oncologist, with special training in laparoscopic surgery. He’s also skilled in robotic prostate surgery.
