There are thousands of theologies that call themselves religions, but Kabbalah is not a religion and dates back to the oldest spiritual wisdom on Earth. Kabbalah is the predecessor to the Jewish faith that is over 4,000 years old. This philosophy of wisdom teaches a pathway of spirituality that leads to the joy that is found in every human being. Kabbalah Centres are the physical buildings located around the world that teach the principles of Kabbalah. People of all nationalities, ages, faiths and religions are invited to come learn the wisdom of Kabbalah.
The first Kabbalah Centre was founded in 1922 in Israel. The Bergs, then a young couple, attended the Centre and after 10 years of study there, they brought Kabbalah to America. The first center in America was located in NYC, which has now moved to San Francisco, and the Kabbalah University broadcasts from Los Angeles.
The Bergs translated the teachings of Kabbalah into many languages while instructing students. The study of Kabbalah is very practical, which leads to a spiritual connection.
Today, there are 40 Kabbalah Centres in cities in Europe and around the world. Until the Internet, these were the only locations where students could be taught the principles of Kabbalah, but now, the teachings are online in the Kabbalah University.
In the Centres, students and instructors come together to study the principles and practice the teachings of love and joy.
The members volunteer in their communities by feeding the homeless and other acts of charity. The students and teachers share meals together, and the Centres develops courses on all levels. They offer lectures, books, and audio products for anyone interested worldwide. Kabbalah Centres are places of spiritual teachings of ancient wisdom so that the student can improve their lives today.
