Jorge Moll is a professional Neurologist. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When he grew up, his passion for medicine became his motivation. After his high school, he attended Federal University of Rio De Janeiro where he acquired his medical degree in 1994. In 1997, he completed his Neurology course at the same university and he performed very well.

Moll did not relax and he did his Doctorate in Sciences (Experimental Physiopathology-Physiology) at the University of Sao Paulo in 2004. The Cognitive Neuroscience is his area of specialty. This was after attaining his postdoctoral degree in Cognitive Neuroscience Section from the National Institute of Neurological Disorder and Stroke, NIH, the USA in 2007.

Jorge Moll based his research on neural bases of both the behavior and moral cognition, neuroscience and social psychology, moral emotions and antisocial behaviors experienced by some people. He uses clinical and neuropsychological studies with the help of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders. He also uses magnetic resonance imaging that is very functional.

His urge to give back to the society, which gave him an opportunity to succeed grew. That is why he founded the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience Unit which deals with patients experiencing neuropsychiatric disorders. Jorge and his professional team offer high-quality services to their customers whose health eventually improves. They also provide their patients with therapy after the treatment. Jorge and his team follow up on the patient’s progress to ensure that they are recuperating. This way, they are able to attract many clients from every corner of the world.

During his career, Jorge was an editorial board member in the Social Neuroscience and Dementia & Neuropsychologia in 2006 ( He exploited his writing skills by publishing in various journals such as Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience, NeuroImage, Trends in Cognitive Sciences, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry and Psychological Science. This has given Jorge a chance to pass his knowledge on neuro-related disorders to many people all over the world. Jorge Moll has also served as a coordinator at the center of Neuroscience, Unit of Cognitive Neuroscience.
